TimeLab is a video rendering and image processing Android app for time-lapse photography. It takes input from a series of images to create a time-lapse video as well as image stacking to create star trails images.
Intervalometer is an app that automates the photo taking process to collect all the required time-lapse frames, and users is able to use TimeLab to process the image frames into a time-lapse video. This offers huge flexibility in time-lapse photography where the images can be re-use on different types of processing for different end-products.
The features include:
- Time-lapse video rendering that converts a series of images into video with configurable resolution, frame rate, and video quality.
- Light painting time-lapse mode that applies light painting effect on time-lapse. (e.g. star trails time-lapse)
- Motion blur time-lapse that allows user to capture time-lapse directly from the app with motion-blur effect that simulate long exposure time-lapse
Light painting image stacking that stacks multiple images into a final stacked image- This feature is now moved to “Light Trails” app with additional comet mode feature
